We're excited to host an in-person audience in our safely distanced, pod seating setup featuring the hilarious comedians, Orlando Leyba and Tammy Pescatelli. This double-feature comedy night is the perfect way to enjoy the safe and social entertainment we've been longing for! All guests will be expected to follow the Gallagher Bluedorn's COVID-19 Safety Policies.

Things To Know Before The Show

The performance begins at 7 PM and there will be no intermission
There will be no pre-show event
No valet parking or concession sales will be offered for this concert.
Doors to the Great Hall will open approximately at 6:30pm and guests are encouraged to go to their seats when they arrive.
Per University of Northern Iowa Policy, face coverings must be worn at all times while inside the Gallagher Bluedorn.
Face coverings are available at the door for those not able to provide their own.
Hand sanitizing stations are at every entrance to the Gallagher Bluedorn, please use them upon arrival.
Each pod of seats is a minimum of 6 feet apart from other pods, each seat within a pod is marked with Green tape. Do not sit in seats with red tape markings.
We've suggested arrival times depending on the level of your seats. We encourage guests with seats on Level 1 and Level 3 (Gallery) to arrive between 6:30pm and 6:45pm. Guests on Level 2 (Mezzanine are encourage to arrive between 6:45pm and 7:00pm.
Guests should self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms before arriving at the venue. Please do not attend if you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are exhibiting any symptoms. (fever or chills, cough, difficulty breathing) If you cannot attend due to exposure or symptoms or any other reason, contact UNItix at 319-273-4840 or tickets@uni.edu for a refund before 4pm the day of the show.
Guests are encouraged to keep a minimum of 6 feet of space between themselves and others while moving around the Gallagher Bluedorn.
Bathroom spaces are tight, please pay special attention to social distance guidelines when entering and exiting our bathroom facilities.
All venue staff and volunteers will be instructed to self-screen for symptoms before reporting for work and to stay home if they show any symptoms.
Increased cleaning and sanitizing measures are ongoing at the Gallagher Bluedorn. All high contact surfaces are sanitized regularly and all seating areas are sanitized before and after each performance.

Orlando Leyba

Orlando Leyba is an American stand up comedian who connects with all audiences through his unique life experience and perspective. Orlando has a knack for finding humor in just about anything that crosses his path. With his animated demeanor, Orlando entertains the audiences through his dynamic story telling and undeniable likeability allowing them to come along for the fun ride of his life experiences. He has been working hard…making his mark on the comedy scene. Most recently he made his late night debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and can be seen on EntreNos on HBO Latino, TruTv Laff Mobb’s Laff Track’s and his very own HBO comedy special, Adorable, which premiered on Nov. 16, 2018. Orlando was a featured comedian this year at the New York Comedy Festival as a TBS’s Comics to Watch and was a finalist in the NBC’s Standup Diversity Showcase last year. He also voiced the role of “Wabo” in the animated children movie Luis and The Aliens. Orlando can be seen at comedy festivals and clubs throughout the U.S and Canada.

Tammy Pescatelli

Arguably one of the hardest working women in comedy today, Tammy Pescatelli brings brassy sexiness with a bold voice of witty sarcasm to her audiences, holding her own on the topics of sports, television, dating and family life using tongue-in-cheek humor. She is relatable to every audience member-male & female. After seeing Tammy perform, nearly everyone wishes she was their best friend or sister!

Tammy’s career jumpstarted after appearing - and being one of the Final 5 - on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Her season played out to more than 18 million viewers, garnering her a mass of loyal new fans that found themselves alongside the others she had created by years of touring the comedy clubs. It solidified her as one of the sharpest comics in the comedy world!
