Gallagher Bluedorn Announces 2026-2027 Season Lineup

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA – The Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center is proud to unveil its 2026–2027 season lineup, featuring an exciting year of Broadway hits, legendary performers, family favorites, and unforgettable live experiences for audiences across the Cedar Valley.

This season, the Gallagher Bluedorn invites the community to step away from the noise, look up from the screen, and share something unforgettable. As the front porch of UNI, the Gallagher is a place where friends gather, families reconnect, and audiences experience the magic that only happens when we come together.

The 2026–2027 season is filled with memorable performances and meaningful collaborations. From Into the Woods, presented in partnership with the UNI School of Music and UNI Theatre, to 1776, a community collaboration with the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Symphony, Cedar Falls Community Theatre, and Waterloo Community Theatre, this season celebrates the power of live performance to bring people together. The Nutcracker will once again feature talented local dancers from across the Cedar Valley.

Highlights of the season include:

Broadway Favorites: Experience the laughter, heart, and excitement of Broadway with hit productions including Shucked, the beloved rom-com Mystic Pizza, and the hilarious murder mystery Clue. From big laughs to unforgettable storytelling, these acclaimed productions bring Broadway-caliber entertainment to the Gallagher stage.

Concerts & Live Entertainment: Enjoy unforgettable performances from fan favorites like Straight No Chaser, Mannheim Steamroller, and INVINCIBLE: A Glorious Tribute to Michael Jackson, along with celebrated artists, dynamic productions, and one-of-a-kind live experiences throughout the season.

Family-Friendly Favorites: Create lasting memories with spectacular performances for all ages, including The Nutcracker, A Charlie Brown Christmas Live on Stage, and 360 ALLSTARS. From beloved holiday traditions to high-energy theatrical experiences, these performances are designed to delight audiences young and old.

A Buck a Kid!: Select performances will once again feature the popular A Buck a Kid! program, offering two $1 youth tickets (ages 15 and under) with the purchase of each adult ticket. This season's participating performances include The Nutcracker, 360 ALLSTARS, and The Passing Zone, helping make the arts accessible and affordable for families across the Cedar Valley.
 

ARTccessible Performances: The Gallagher Bluedorn is committed to making the arts accessible to all. This season's ARTccessible performances include 1776, A Charlie Brown Christmas Live on Stage, Clue, Mystic Pizza, and Shucked, each offering American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and audio description to help more audience members experience the joy of live performance.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, June 26, 2026, at 10 a.m. and may be purchased online at gbpac.com or through the GBPAC Ticket Office.
