Master Classes
The Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center's master classes and artist residencies offer students the opportunity to interact with high caliber professional artists.
Performers willing to participate in this program provide students the opportunity to learn more about their particular art form and hear how they became successful in the entertainment industry. Master classes allow students to see artists as real people with individual histories, dreams and challenges. This interaction provides students the realization that professional performers are not so different from themselves, which encourages them to realize their own potential in the arts. Whether the artists choose to lecture, provide demonstrations, offer student participation, field questions or a combination of these, this interaction can be an inspiration for young people.
