Rental Information: Scheduling Guidelines
1. Availability
Available dates for use of the GBPACs Great Hall and associated
spaces can be ascertained by contacting Chris Kremer, Event Management
Director at 319-273-3668.
chris.kremer@uni.edu
2. Holds
A courtesy hold of ten (10) business days may be placed on an available
date, after which a reservation must be made or the date will then be
released.
3. Reservations
Reserving the Auditorium for a non-UNI function requires a $500 non-refundable
deposit. The $500 deposit will be credited to any expenses accrued by
the renter. In the event of a cancellation or release of a reserved date,
the GBPAC will retain the $500 deposit. Once the deposit has been received
with signed contracts, the standard policies relating to UNI functions
below must be followed. All renters of the Great Hall must adhere to the
following procedures:
-
All requests to use the Great Hall must be made to the Event Management
Director.
-
Renter must provide the Associate Director and the Technical Director
with detailed plans in writing of the program and/or topics, stage,
sound, and lighting needs.
-
All requests are subject to review and final approval by the Executive
Director of the GBPAC.
-
A verbal (courtesy) hold on any available date is effective for ten
(10) business days. At the end of the ten (10) day period, a signed
contract or reservation form is required to confirm the date.
