Arts Center during the 2001-2002 season.

The Gallagher-Bluedorn generated $2,508,275 (that’s over $2.5 million)
into the local economy during its ‘01-‘02 artist series season.
Note: This amount is exclusively generated from the Gallagher-Bluedorn
Artist Series. These amounts do not include money generated from the Waterloo-Cedar
Falls Symphony and UNI’s School of Music performances at the GBPAC.
The benefits of an excellent performance venue, such as the Gallagher-Bluedorn
Performing Arts Center, reach far beyond the performers and the audiences
who use the facility. The Center is also an advantage in recruiting and
retaining University of Northern Iowa students and faculty. And is an
attraction for employees and businesses considering relocation to the
area.
Information was compiled from economic impact surveys that were distributed
to show patrons prior to 13 Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center
’01-’02 artist series performances.
