How do I get to the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center?

The Cedar Falls-Waterloo metropolitan area sits on the crossroads of U.S. Highways 218, 63 and 20 and Interstate 380, in northeast Iowa. The GBPAC is located at the south entrance to UNI, on University Avenue in Cedar Falls. Cedar Falls-Waterloo map.

 

Where do I park?

The center has two convenient drop-off entries and parking for more than 800 vehicles within one block. Parking map.

 

Do Broadway musicals come to the GBPAC?

Yes. The facility showcases more than 300 performances annually. Broadway musicals are part of the performance mix.

 

How much do tickets cost for national touring companies?

Tickets are priced in line with national touring shows and vary based on each production. Student discount tickets are available for most performances.

 

How do I order tickets?

Are there special rates for groups?

How long are the concerts?

Most evening concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. and generally last approximately 2 hours with a 15-20 minute intermission.

 

Are refreshments available during intermissions?

Yes. Full beverage service and light desserts are available during intermissions of most events in the Great Hall.

 

What provisions are there for the handicapped?

The center is fully handicapped-accessible in accordance with ADA standards.

 

Accessible Seating

Wheelchair seating is available on all levels of the Great Hall. Be sure to mention your need when placing your ticket order.


Elevators

A large elevator located on the north side of the lobby provides easy access to all levels of the GBPAC.


Restrooms

There are handicap-accessible restrooms available on all levels of the building.


Audio Aids

Hearing assistance devices are available free of charge to the hearing impaired and may be borrowed at the coat check area near the ticket office.


Other Services

The GBPAC will gladly provide signers for the hearing impaired and large or Braille programs for the visually impaired with three weeks prior notice.
